Celeste premiered her solo concert, SONGS IN THE SPIRIT, in New York City at West Park Presbyterian Church in 1998. Since then she has reprised the concert at other New York City churches and in Assisi, Italy. Upcoming plans include a recording of SONGS IN THE SPIRIT for commercial distribution.
Celeste sang for three and a half years as a professional chorister at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ, before relocating to Philadelphia in 2007. Celeste was mezzo section leader and cantor for Spanish liturgy and a professional member of the choir for liturgy in English. She greatly appreciates that opportunities she was given at the Cathedral in the music ministry.
Celeste has also subbed at churches in NYC and in Philadelphia. She has performed the mezzo solo of the VERDI'S REQUIEM with New York Choral Society's Summer Sings, under different maestros.
